Access to the system
Access to the system takes place without registration. At the beginning there will be a TAN number (random combination alphanumeric characters) generated, that enables a re-access to the personal feedback and results.
Compilation of the participation certificate
To compile the participation certificate, no personal data will be recorded. A random, alphanumeric key (which does not resemble the TAN number) will be printed on the certificate, which allows verification of the certificate´s universal validity.
The given answers are used to compile the user´s feedback, e.g. also to compile comparison groups. Besides, the data is used in an anonymous way to improve the underlying method by evaluating, for example the mean calculation of the given right answers, compile comparison groups or the tool´s error rate by different browser types. The data is anonymously evaluated and the results are presented in a general overview. Non-personal data is compiled via the given answers to the tasks, the demographic questionnaire, as well as timely behavior (e.g. time needed to answer, time taken to complete the test). Other saved data applies to the technical general framework like browser version, operating system or hostname. The IP-address will not be recorded in the Self-Assessment-system.
Non-personal data
In contrast to the personal data, non-personal data per definition do not enable drawing conclusion from the results to the participants. Thus, these data will be recorded for scientific analysis within the system without time limit.
Recipient
A circulation of non-personal data from the Self-Assessment to third parties takes place at most through reports or publications which presents a general overview of the results and are never personal based.
